The management of Taraba State Polytechnic, Suntai, has officially released the Supplementary Admission List for the 2026/2027 Academic Session. This list includes candidates for National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), and various certificate programmes who were not captured in the primary merit list.
Prospective students are advised to check their status immediately to begin the registration process before the session’s deadline.
How to Check Your Admission Status (2026 Guide)
Checking your status is now a dual process involving both the school portal and the national JAMB database.
Step 1: On the School Portal

Visit the official Taraba State Polytechnic Portal.

On the sidebar or main dashboard, select the Admissions List option.

Choose the academic session as “2026/2027”.

Select the Batch as “Supplementary”.

Click Submit to display the list of admitted students. You can use the search bar to find your name or application number quickly.
Step 2: On JAMB CAPS (Mandatory for ND Candidates)
If you are an ND candidate, your admission is not “official” until it is accepted on the national portal:

Go to the JAMB e-Facility Portal.

Login with your email and password.

Click on “Check Admission Status” and then “Access my CAPS”.

Select “Admission Status” and click Accept Admission if offered.
Next Steps for Admitted Students
1. Acceptance Fee and Admission Letter
Once you’ve confirmed your name, log in to your student account on the Polytechnic Portal to pay your non-refundable acceptance fee. After payment, you will be able to download and print your official Taraba Poly Admission Letter.
2. Physical Screening
Report to the campus (Suntai or Jalingo, depending on your department) with the following original documents:

JAMB Admission Letter and Result Slip.

O’Level Result (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB).

Local Government Indigene Certificate.

Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age.

Four (4) recent passport-sized photographs.
3. Financial Aid (NELFUND)
For the 2026 academic year, Taraba State Poly students are eligible for the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND). If you require financial assistance for your tuition, ensure your NIN is up to date and apply via the NELFUND portal after completing your institutional registration.
