Mass Communication

Mass Communication professionals develop and share messages to the target audience using strategic media practices. Journalists, advertisers and marketers, public relations specialists, illustrators, content writers, and many others use these strategies to launch communication plans, ranging from online marketing campaigns to broadcast news.

Public Administration

Public administration professionals manage local, state, and the federal government using skills such as project management. This degree prepares them to work in the implementation of public policies.

A public administrator usually pursues a career in nonprofit work or government. They work in departments such as public works, transportation, housing, community, and economic development, etc.

Library and Information Science

Library and Information Science deals with the access and collection of information in physical or digital form.

Librarians and information professionals bridge the gaps between people, information, and technology.

Local Government Studies

Local Government Studies is primarily concerned with inclusive local governance theories and models, community leadership and public participation values, and the roles of elected officials in local community governance.

Graduates are equipped with adequate knowledge and understanding of the organisational structures at the third tier of government and managing conflicts. In addition, they manage local constituencies using their expertise in public administration and political science.

Professionals can apply project management, community development skills, conflict settlement, economics analysis, and so on at the local government level.
