This is to inform members of the Polytechnic Community, notably Students that the Rector’s Cup Competition for the year 2022 has been postponed indefinitely owing to the disorderly conduct and violence perpetrated by Students of various Departments.
In view of the aforementioned, Students are to return to their classes and continue with their Academic Activities.

This is to formally remind all new and returning students about the Students Union orientation/welcome reception for new and returning students of KENPoly scheduled for the following dates:
Date: February 23, 2022, on a Wednesday.
Time: 12 o’clock p.m.
Venue: Convocation Arena
To allow students to get an extensive orientation and for union leaders to educate them on the need of paying their dues on time, the administration has granted the above-mentioned date for classes to be skipped from 1pm to 3pm from Monday to Friday.
This is to advise you, and in particular those newly admitted students for the 2021/2022 academic session, that the Polytechnic’s 35th Matriculation Ceremony will take place on the dates and times listed below:
Date: Saturday, February 26th, 2022 is the date set for this event.
Time: 10:00 a.m. (local time)
The Federal Polytechnic in Idah’s New Convocation Pavilion serves as the venue for this event.
You are warmly invited to participate in the celebration.
Upon arrival at the Polytechnic, all matriculating students are requested to congregate in front of the Administrative Block at 9:00 a.m.
As a result of the short delay in our admissions for the 2021/2022 Academic Session, the Academic Board approved a modification in the date of Matriculation from Wednesday, 23rd February 2022 to Wednesday, 9th March 2022 at its 344th meeting held on Thursday, 10th February 2022.
This adjustment, however, has no effect on other academic events listed on the Academic Session Calendar for 2021/2022.

In light of the Special Academic Board meeting held on February 17, 2022, you have been directed to begin classes on February 21, 2022 for new students.
All newly admitted students are strongly encouraged to follow the rules and regulations.
Please ensure that all heads of units adhere to the rules and regulations.
The management of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti (FPA) has officially released the primary admission list for the 2026/2027 Academic Session. This announcement applies to candidates who participated in the 2026 Post-UTME screening for National Diploma (ND) Full-time programmes.
Applicants are advised that admission offers are being uploaded in batches. If your status currently reads “Admission Still in Progress,” please check back regularly as the portal is updated daily.
In 2026, all federal admissions must be formally accepted through the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). Follow these steps to verify your offer:
Visit the Portal: Go to the JAMB e-Facility Portal.
Login: Enter your registered email address and password.
Check Admission Status: Click on the “Check Admission Status” button.
Access CAPS: Select “Access my CAPS” to open your admission profile.
Accept/Reject: Click on “Admission Status” on the sidebar. If you have been offered admission, click “ACCEPT” to secure your slot.
Note: Clicking “REJECT” will permanently delete your offer and make the slot available to other candidates.
Once you have accepted your admission on JAMB CAPS, you must complete the institutional registration on the FPA Student Portal.
For the 2026/2027 session, the non-refundable acceptance fee is ₦45,000.
Log in to the FPA portal and generate an Acceptance Invoice.
Pay via Remita online or at any commercial bank.
Deadline: You are typically required to pay the acceptance fee within three (3) weeks of the admission offer.
After paying the acceptance fee, proceed to the Polytechnic’s Digital Library or the School of Undergraduate Studies for physical clearance. You must bring:
JAMB Admission Letter and Result Slip.
O’Level Result(s) (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) – Ensure these were uploaded to JAMB CAPS.
Certificate of Indigene and Birth Certificate.
Two (2) recent passport photographs.
Upon successful clearance, generate your school fees invoice on the portal. For 2026 freshers, total fees range between ₦101,700 and ₦138,700 depending on the department and school (e.g., Engineering vs. Business).
As of late 2025, the Polytechnic has expanded from six to eight schools to better align with modern skills. Ensure you confirm your new department under the appropriate school:

At its statutory meeting held on Thursday, December 16th, and Friday, December 17th 2021, the Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti took note of a report of reckless driving by students on campus and issued the following directives as a result:
(1) Students will no longer be permitted to drive or operate any type of motor vehicle on campus, effective immediately.
(2) Motor vehicles parked at the school gate are left at the risk of their owners.
All candidates who have been admitted to the Fed Poly Ile-Oluji as part of the ongoing 2021/2022 Admissions procedure should be reminded that their admission is still provisional.
As a result, they are urged to pay the prescribed Acceptance Fee by Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at the latest. Failure to make payment by the due date will be construed as a voluntary revocation of admission privileges.
Applicants for admission into Kaduna Polytechnic (ND, NCE, and B.Ed (Technology)/B.Sc) programs are advised to visit the Kaduna Polytechnic website (www.kadunapolytechnic.edu.ng) for instructions on the Post-UTME Screening activity.
