  • Late Registration Fee: May apply after April 17th.

Registration Procedure for Newly Admitted Students (2026 Update)

The registration process at GSPB is a hybrid of online documentation and physical verification. Follow these steps to complete your enrollment:

Step 1: Admission Letter & HOD Clearance

Visit the official GSPB Portal to download your provisional admission letter. Report to your respective Head of Department (HOD) with original copies of your O’Level results, Indigene Letter, and Birth Certificate for initial screening.

Step 2: MIS/ICT Online Clearance

Once cleared by your HOD, proceed to the MIS/ICT Unit on campus. They will verify your credentials against the digital database and enable your profile for school fee payment.

Step 3: School Fees Payment (Remita)

Log in to your student portal using your Application Number as the username and “password” (unless you have changed it) as the password.

  • Payment Options: You can pay online via your Debit/ATM Card, Bank Transfer, or generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) to pay at any commercial bank branch.

Step 4: Matriculation/Registration Number Generation

After payment, return to the portal to print your Payment Slip. Your official Registration Number will now be automatically generated and displayed on this slip.

Step 5: Official Receipt & Medicals

Submit your payment slip to the Bursary Department to obtain an official signed receipt. Afterward, proceed to the Polytechnic Medical Center for a mandatory health evaluation using the forms downloaded with your admission letter.

Step 6: Course Registration

Return to the MIS/ICT Unit to collect your registered courses printout. You must then take these to your Department for the signatures of the HOD and your Level/Course Advisor.

Step 7: Validation & Final Documentation

Make three (3) copies of all completed forms (Admission Letter, Payment Receipt, Medical Report, and Course Forms) and submit them to the Academic Office for final validation.

Note: Your admission is only considered “Official” once validated by the Academic Office.

Step 8: Identity Card & Security

Report to the Security Unit for the issuance of your temporary ID card. Ensure you submit copies of this ID to both the Academic Office and your Departmental office for their files.
