This is to advise all Evening/Part-Time students, as well as the rest of the Polytechnic Community, that the First Semester 2021/2022 Academic Session will begin on Monday, February 28, 2022, and will last for two semesters.

As a result, all of the impacted students are required to report to their respective Departments for Departmental screening and enrollment. Using the Remita fees platform, they are supposed to seek Authority document from their respective Heads of Departments before traveling to any specified Banks to make payment of fees.

Also reminded that all ongoing Evening/Part-time students are responsible for paying their tuition and registering with the appropriate departments.

Students who are concerned should be aware that lectures will begin promptly upon the restart of classes. Students are reminded to be on time for lectures and to treat their studies as a serious undertaking.

The school would like to welcome back all Evening/Part-time students to campus and wish them luck in their studies this semester.

The administration of the Isa Mustapha Agwai Polytechnic, Lafia has prohibited final-year students from holding after-exam celebrations on campus or at the school’s main gate, according to a press release.

They were contained in a circular published on February 23, 2022, and signed by the institution’s registrar, which outlined the requirements.

The first semester examinations for part-time students of Yaba Institute of Technology will begin on the 19th of March in the following year. The practical tests will commence on the 8th of March in the year 2022.

The college wishes to remind all part-time students that they must pay their school fees and complete course registration by the first day of March in the year 2022 at the latest.

It has been brought to the attention of the Ede Polytechnic management that there is speculation of security tension in Ede, which has caused concern among members of staff and students of the institution.

However, this is to advise members of the Polytechnic Community to maintain their composure and carry out their legitimate responsibilities without fear, since the situation is within the authority of law enforcement agencies at this time.

In this regard, it should be highlighted that law enforcement agencies are prepared to nip any security threat in the bud.

As a result of the foregoing, members of the community are exhorted to carry out their responsibilities without fear or trepidation.

While carrying out their legal responsibilities, employees and students, in particular, are recommended to use caution and security awareness.

This is to inform members of the Polytechnic Community, notably Students that the Rector’s Cup Competition for the year 2022 has been postponed indefinitely owing to the disorderly conduct and violence perpetrated by Students of various Departments.

In view of the aforementioned, Students are to return to their classes and continue with their Academic Activities.

The Oke Ogun Polytechnic Saki HND Pre-admission CBT and screening exercise will take place between Tuesday, February 15th, and Friday, February 18th, 2022.

Please keep in mind that all applicants are recommended to attend cooperatively and present themselves at their prospective departments with the required documents in order to be considered for this exercise.

The Iree Town Council, in collaboration with the various security agencies in town, has announced a curfew in Iree town from sunset to daybreak beginning today. To combat the rising wave of ritual killings, armed robberies, kidnappings, and other types of instability plaguing the area, a curfew will be in force between the hours of 10pm and 6am from tonight until the following morning on Friday, January 26.

Given the circumstances, all members of staff and students living in Iree town are strongly encouraged to adhere to the curfew directives issued by the Iree Town Council and security agencies, and to remain in their respective residences during the curfew hours.

You are compelled to comply with this order since it is in your own best interests.
