FULafia Admission List 2026/2027: How to Check Status and Pay Acceptance Fee

The management of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has officially released the primary admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session. This notice serves to inform all candidates who participated in the 2026 Post-UTME screening that they can now verify their provisional admission status.

Admitted students are required to complete their acceptance and registration promptly to secure their spot in the “Unique University.”

How to Check Your FULafia Admission Status

As of 2026, FULafia utilizes the Student Portal (MyPortal) for internal registration. Follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Portal: Go to the official FULafia Student Portal.

  2. Login: Enter the Applicant ID (e.g., FULUG26XXXX) and password used during your Post-UTME screening registration.

  3. Check Status: On your dashboard, click on the “ACTIONS” button or the “ADMISSION MENU” to view your status.

  4. Accept Admission: If you have been offered admission, click on “Accept Admission” to begin the payment process.


Mandatory JAMB CAPS Action

Before your admission is finalized on the school portal, you must accept the offer on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

  • Log in to the JAMB e-Facility Portal.

  • Navigate to “Check Admission Status” and click on “Access my CAPS.”

  • Select “Admission Status” and click “ACCEPT”.

  • After accepting, ensure you print your official JAMB Admission Letter.


Acceptance Fee and Clearance (2026 Update)

For the 2026/2027 session, FULafia has updated its fee structure and registration timeline:

  • Acceptance Fee: The non-refundable acceptance fee is now ₦25,000 (increased from previous years).

  • Payment Method: All payments must be initiated through the portal via the Remita platform. Any RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) generated outside the portal will not be recognized.

  • Deadline: Candidates generally have four (4) weeks from the date of the offer to accept and pay. Failure to do so within this window will result in the admission being deemed forfeited.

  • Medical Screening: New students are also required to pay a Medical Test Fee of ₦7,500 as part of the initial clearance process.
