Maurid Polytechnic, formerly known as Maurid Institute of Management and Technology, is an institution situated in Oron, Akwa Ibom State. The polytechnic is aimed at making students excellent in studies and research. It, therefore, prepares students for the labour market.

Maurid Polytechnic is fast-rising to become of the well-known polytechnics in Nigeria. It offers National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes in science, technology, and management.

Maurid Polytechnic School Fees

Maurid Polytechnic per semester is N47,500. Higher National Diploma (HND) students pay N50,000 per semester.

 History of Maurid Polytechnic

Maurid Polytechnic was previously called Maurid Institute of Management and Technology. It was one of the notable polytechnics in Nassarawa State. However, due to several factors, the institution established a site in Akwa Ibom State in 2011.

Now situated in Oron, Akwa Ibom State, the institution admits candidates in several fields of study.

I just received a letter that I’ve been given admission into maurid Polytechnic. And it’s not my first choice of institution.
Does that mean that I won’t be given admire by by for choice?

Nope. You don’t have to accept the admission and can wait for your first choice. Also, try to confirm if the admission you got is genuine.

I did not pick maurid poly in my jamb registration but I received a messages that I have been given admisson there how do I go about it

Lots of people seems to be reporting this. Contact the school directly, go to the school if you can. Be vigilant, it might be a scam.
