Admissions are now open for candidates to apply all year round and resume studies at the next available semester. Candidates are however to indicate properly the semester they would resume studies.

General Admission Requirements

Candidates must possess the basic Ordinary Level requirements of 5 credits passes including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings in addition to the following:

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD/PGDE):

Graduates of JOSTUM or any other recognized University in the relevant areas.

Holders of HND with minimum pass at credit level or equivalent in relevant areas from recognised institutions.

Degree of Master

Candidates who possess a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant areas from JOSTUM or any other recognized University with a minimum of Second Class Honours.

Candidates with Third Class Degree or HND in relevant areas, with appropriate Postgraduate Diplomas of JOSTUM or any other recognized Institution with a minimum CGPA of 3.50 or at least Upper Credit in the PGD. In addition, holders of HND, PGD/PGDE Certificates should satisfy the basic School Certificate or GCE/entry requirement as stated above.

Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D):

Holders of Master degree of JOSTUM or other recognized Universities with a minimum CGPA or 3.50 on a 5 point scale, provided that satisfactory research work formed part of the degree may apply. Relevant prerequisites apply.

Interested candidates are to log into the University’s website, www.uam.edu.ng for details on application procedure, general/specific requirements for all programmes upon payment of a non-refundable application processing free of twenty thousand, five hundred Naira (N20,500.00) only into any commercial Bank nationwide through Remitta or Debit card (Master or Verve).
• Candidates are required to print and submit two (2) copies of the completed application forms to the Secretary, Postgraduate School with relevant credentials attached by hand delivery or courier services on or before the closing date of the sale of application forms.
• Candidates must arrange for their academic transcripts to be forwarded to the Secretary, Postgraduate School before Monday, 28thFebruary 2022.

Two individuals suspected of kidnapping were apprehended attempting to kidnap a student at the University of Lagos’ second gate.

According to reports, the males attempted to seduce the student as she walked along a path, and when she refused, they dragged her into their car and smacked her in the head with a stone.

She yelled for assistance, attracting the attention of security personnel who apprehended the culprits.

The sale of CHO Application forms begins on February 1, 2022 and concludes on July 29, 2022. The form is only five thousand (N5,000) naira.

CANDIDATES ELIGIBLE

Admission is open to the following categories of candidates.

•Holders of a Diploma in Community Health (or CHEWS abridged qualifications with a minimum of two (2) years of work experience

*CHEWS with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience.

*Candidates holding the aforementioned certifications MUST have five (5) credit level passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, Chemistry, and Physics at the SSCE/O. level in no more than two sittings.

The form is accessible after generating a Remita (RRR) and depositing N5000 into the CHOTP ACCOUNT with any bank, obtaining a receipt from the School Accountant at the cash office in the administrative block, and collecting a PIN and serial NUMBER from the school for online admission form completion.

Federal University Otuoke (FUOTUOKE) Supplementary Post UTME Registration for the Academic Session 2021/2022 is still open. The revised application deadline is February 14, 2022. The criterion is 140. Forms cost N2,000 each. Candidates who did not select the FUOTUOKE are also eligible to apply.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicant must have at least five credits from NECO, WAEC, or NABTEB in the following subjects: English language, math, chemistry, physics, and biology. They must also have not taken more than two (2) exams.

• UDUTH School of Nursing is the second service that you can choose under “Service.” To get a payment RRR, fill in the service amount with N5,000.00 and then click “Generate RRR.”
• With the Remita (RRR Number) you made, go to any bank to pay.
• Bring the generated teller of payment with the Remita slip to the UDUTH Cashier and get a receipt for the money you paid.
• Bring the copy of the Remita slip and the receipt you got from the UDUTH cashier to the SCHOOL OF NURSING at UDUTH SOKOTO to get your SERIAL NUMBER and PIN number there.
