Federal Polytechnic, Mubi, is a Nigerian polytechnic located in northeastern Nigeria; Mubi, Adamawa State.

Seven federal polytechnics were established by Decree No. 33 of 1979 and Federal Polytechnic, Mubi, happens to be one of them.

In August 1979, the polytechnic started as the Federal Polytechnic, Yola. It was relocated to Mubi, following a presidential directive in 1982.

Following its relocation to Mubi, the defunct Federal School of Arts and Sciences’ infrastructures were inherited. They are been renovated to suit the requirements of the polytechnic.

Federal Polytechnic, Mubi had over 3,000 students and 14 academic departments by 2006. The 2009/2010 academic session could also boast of 36 accredited programmes and over 14,000 students.

The 2019/2020 calendar was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The management of the Federal Polytechnic, Mubi has, however, approved the resumption of academic activities and commencement of the 1st and 3rd semester examinations.

Resumption and revision of the 1st and 3rd semester will commence on the 26th to the 31st of October. 1st and 3rd semester examinations will also be held from the 2nd to the 28th of November, 2020.

Staff and students of the reputable institution are informed that academic activities will commence on October 26, 2020.

The Federal Polytechnic, Idah is a federal government-owned polytechnic located in Idah, Kogi State. Founded in 1977, Federal Polytechnic Idah was previously called ‘Idah College of Technology.’

The reputable polytechnic’s motto is ‘Technology for Self Reliance.’ The polytechnic offers the National Diploma (ND) programmes and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes at undergraduate levels.                        

Federal Polytechnic Idah HND Form 2020

The management of Federal Polytechnic, Idah, invites eligible candidates who are seeking admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND) full-time and part-time programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session.

Below are the entry requirements:

  • Candidates must possess at least 5 credit passes in relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) in O’ Level. This must be obtained at not more than two sittings.
  • Candidates must possess a National Diploma in a relevant field. This degree must be obtained from a recognized institution and have a minimum of Lower Credit. A one-year post qualification experience is also required.

In cases where candidates possess a pass grade, they must have at least two years post qualification experience in a specific field.

  • Candidates must upload their results and submit their confidential report and academic transcripts to the Registrar.

Federal Polytechnic Idah Post UTME 2020

Candidates seeking admission into this institution must have scored at least 140 in the 2020/2021 UTME and chosen Federal Polytechnic, Idah as their first choice.

To pay the screening fee, which costs N2,000, kindly visit the official website: www.fepoda.edu.ng.

To register for the Post UTME screening, candidates are required to follow the steps below:

  • Visit fedopa.edu.ng and select ‘Screening Payment.’
  • Complete the form by providing your email address and password. The password must contain a minimum of eight characters in numbers and alphabets. Afterwards, print out the Payment Invoice with Remita Retrieval Reference.
  • Using the Payment Invoice, pay the screening fee of N2,000 at any bank of your choice.
  • Return to the institution’s website to complete the registration. Click on ‘Finish Registration’ and upload your State of Origin. JAMB Registration Number, choice of courses, and JAMB Score. Also, upload passport-sized photograph with a size of not more than 22kb and print out the Admission Screening Details.

Registration can be made on or before November 30, 2020.

To qualify for Ilaro Poly HND Form and be considered for admission, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Full-Time Admission

  • A minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma.
  • Academic transcripts should be sent to the registrar.
  • Candidates must have at least one year Post National Diploma relevant industrial experience.
  • Candidates must perform outstandingly in the polytechnic’s screening exercise.
  • Candidates should possess at least five credits in relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics). This must be obtained at not more than two sittings.

Part-Time Admission

  • Candidates are required to perform excellently in the screening exercise.
  • A minimum of Lower Credit in National Diploma. Candidates who did not meet this requirement but have at least two calendar years of Post National Diploma Industrial experience may be considered for the HND Weekend programme.
  • Candidates should possess specific SSCE requirements.

Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti (FEDPOLYADO) is a Nigerian polytechnic located along Ado/Ikare road, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria. The polytechnic was previously located in Jos, Plateau State. It was, however, relocated to Akure, Ondo State by the Federal Government of Nigeria. Its relocation was aimed at maintaining an equitable spread of government-owned institutions amongst states in Nigeria.

Its status changed from a College of Technology to a polytechnic in 1979. It also moved to Ado-Ekiti in 1982 to establish a university in Akure.

Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti has over 10,000 full-time and part-time students and it is known as one of the popular polytechnics in Nigeria.

The total school fees (per session) for National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes is N45,000. However, some courses such as Agricultural Technology and Mechanical Engineering costs N46,000.

Federal Poly Ado Post UTME 2020

Federal Poly Ado invites qualified candidates to apply for Post UTME for the 2020/2021 academic session.

To be eligible for Post UTME screening, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Candidates must have chosen the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti as their first choice and scored at least 150 in the 2020/2021 UTME.
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in relevant subjects in O’ Level. This must be obtained at not more than two sittings.
  • Candidates who scored a minimum of 150 in UTME but did not choose FEDPOLYADO as their first choice can apply for a change of institution with JAMB.

To apply for the Post UTME form, candidates should follow the steps below:

  • Visit the polytechnic’s portal: http://students.fedpolyado.edu.ng. Generate and print the application payment invoice.
  • Afterwards, use the generated invoice to make payment. Payment can be made through any commercial bank or online with an ATM card.
  • After payment has been made, use the RRR number to fill the application form on the portal.
  • After filling the form, print copies of the application form and acknowledgement slip.

Registration expires on the 28th of December, 2020.
