2.All students are to consult with their LEVEL ADVISERS, for necessary advice and guidance on departmental regulations on the choice of courses to be registered, before proceeding online for course registration.
3.Upload of scanned (in .pdf format) ANTI-CULTISM OATH FORM on to the registration portal has now formed part of the requirements for online course registration.
4.Visit LASU website www.lasu.edu.ng
-Point to STUDENT tab
-Drag your mouse pointer on COURSE REGISTRATION
-Click on UG COURSE REGISTRATION
-Input your MATRIC NUMBER and PASSWORD in the appropriate text box
-Click on SUBMIT button
5.All students are to agree to the LASU Code of Conduct, by checking each of the check boxes one after the other, and click on submit.
6.Complete your online courses registration.

Federal University Otuoke (FUOTUOKE) Supplementary Post UTME Registration for the Academic Session 2021/2022 is still open. The revised application deadline is February 14, 2022. The criterion is 140. Forms cost N2,000 each. Candidates who did not select the FUOTUOKE are also eligible to apply.

Sina Akinmusire, a final-year student at Lagos State University (LASU), has been selected as one of the recipients of the Nigerian Senior Advocates’ 2021 scholarship scheme (BOSAN)

According to a university statement, Akinmusire, a student in the faculty of law, and four other students from various universities in Nigeria were chosen for their outstanding performance in the BOSAN competition for university-level law students in the country.

The competition received nominations from no fewer than 114 first-class students at 34 universities across the country. Prof. Enefiok Essien SAN and former LASU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Lanre Fagbohun SAN judged the qualifying examination and then picked the candidates.

For the follow-up oral interview, the top 12 students with the highest examination results were chosen. Mr. Dele Adesina SAN, Mr. Sebastian Hon SAN, Mr. Liman Hassan SAN, Prof. Oluyemisi Bamgbose SAN, and Prof. Ayodele Atsenuwa SAN served on the panel of interviewers.

The BOSAN 2021 Annual Dinner and Scholarship Awards were hosted on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the famous Lagos Continental Hotel.

Zainab Bello has shattered a 60-year-old ABU Zaria record by obtaining a first-class degree in the Mathematics Department.

According to accounts, Zainab has been a shining star since her nursery school days, consistently emerging as the best.

Zainab earned a CGPA of 4.85, a record that has never been broken. The Department of Mathematics at ABU was founded in 1962, the same year the university was founded.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) has stated that the National Business and Technical Examinations Board’s (NABTEB) Certificates, namely the National Technical Certificate (NTC), the Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC), the National Business Certificate (NBC), the Advanced National Business Certificate (ANBC), and the Modular Trade Certificate (MTC), are valid, recognized, and accepted by JAMB for the purpose of admission.

However, in the declaration published on the 1st and 8th pages of the JAMB Bulletin, Volume 2, No. 61, on the 31st of January, 2022, it was stated that the NABTEB Advanced General Certificate in Education (NAGCE) is not recognized, approved, or recognized by law.

According to the Bulletin, a publication of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board’s Office of the Registrar, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board is obligated to publish this explanation to allay any questions about what constitutes appropriate behavior.

Additionally, it added that the Board (JAMB) urges students who possess the required NABTEB and other recognized bodies certification to follow their admission ambitions without hindrance.
