The Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, is an institution of higher learning established by Nigeria’s Federal Government in 2014. Located in Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, the management of the polytechnic organized a three-day orientation for the pioneering staff. This orientation was organized between the 16th of November to the 18th in 2015, to acquaint them with the polytechnic’s plans and directions, as well as the mission and vision.

The polytechnic aims to train highly-skilled students that will be relevant in the technological space. Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, also admits students irrespective of their cultural or religious backgrounds.

The mission of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, is “to develop individuals in various technical and managerial skills through qualitative training and relevant educational programs.”

  • After entering the necessary information, click on Proceed.
  • A transaction reference number and the personal information will be displayed on the next page. Candidates should choose how they want to pay the application fees.
  • To make a payment, click on the Remita ‘Pay Now’ image.
  • After payment has been successfully made, continue the application. The Post UTME screening form attracts a fee of two thousand naira.

Online Registration for Candidates

  • After a successful payment, candidates should return to the applications page and click on Continue Application.
  • Log in to the online application platform by inputting your JAMB Registration Number as username and Surname as the default password.
  • Enter the required details. Also, scan and upload the required documents such as O’ Level result and UTME result. The file should not be more than 20kb. They should also be in JPEG format.

Federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji Resumption Date

The Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji resumed academic activities for new and returning students on the 18th of January, 2021. The management approved this date following a directive from the Federal Ministry of Education.

The Federal Government announced that schools should resume on this said due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Students are advised to adhere to the guidelines given by Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). They should maintain social distancing, wear face masks at all times and wash their hands regularly.

Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic (HAFEDPOLY) is a government-funded and managed institution located in Kazaure, Jigawa State.

The institution was founded as Jigawa State Polytechnic in December 1991. It had four colleges in several locations: the College of Business and Management Studies at Dutse, the College of Engineering, Science and Technology at Kazaure, the College of Agriculture at Hadejia, and the College of Islamic and Legal Studies at Ringim. The Central Administration is situated at Kazaure, Jigawa State.

The institution aims to “provide technical and practical oriented training to meet the manpower requirements for the Industrial and Economic development of Nigeria.”

In 1998, the institution was renamed Hussaini Adamu Polytechnic. It was in honour of Alhaji Hussaini Adamu, the former emir of Kazaure.

In January 2007, Hussaini Adamu Polytechnic became a federal polytechnic managed and run by Nigeria’s Federal Government. In 2009, HAFEDPOLY held its first convocation ceremony. It issued certificates and National Diplomas to about 6,024 students. These students completed their academic programmes between 1992 and 2008.

The Federal Polytechnic, Nekede is a government-owned institution of higher learning located in Nekede, Owerri, Imo State.

The institution was established in 1978 by the Imo State government as College of Technology, Owerri. Then, it was situated on a temporary site at the premises of Government Technical College. It, however, relocated to its present site in Nekede, Owerri.

The institution became a federal government institution on the 7th of April, 1993. It was renamed The Federal Polytechnic, Nekede.

Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, inaugurated Rev. Engr. Dr. Micheal Arimanwa as the first Alumnus Rector of the institution and 8th Rector of the Polytechnic in October 2018. The institution has five schools, namely: School of Business Management Technology (SBMT), School of Environmental Development Technology (SEDT), School of Engineering Technology (SET), School of Humanities and Social Science (SHSS), and School of Industrial and Applied Science (SIAS).

Federal Polytechnic NEKEDE Post UTME 2020

To be eligible for the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede Post UTME screening, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Candidates whose O’ Level results are still awaiting are not qualified to apply for the Post UTME Form.
  • Candidates must have scored at least 180 in the 2020 UTME.
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of five credits in relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) at O’ Level. It should be obtained at not more than two sittings.
  • Candidates cannot combine NABTEC with NECO or WAEC. They can only combine NECO with WAEC and NABTEB with NABTEB.

Here is the procedure for obtaining the Post UTME Form:

Candidates should visit the official website: www.fpno.edu.ng. They should pay the screening form fee of two thousand naira only. It can be paid on the Remita platform by visiting any commercial bank.

  • Visit the polytechnic’s website: fpno.edu.ng. Click on Admissions or visit the application form page: http://ndapplication.fpno.edu.ng/
  • Select Application Form
  • Click on ‘Generate an Invoice for Your Desired Programme.’ Afterwards, enter the required information.
  • Click on ‘ND Morning’ under ‘Programme’ and enter the required information.
  • After completing the required information, click on ‘Generate Invoice.’ Copy the RRR from the invoice or print out the invoice.
  • To make payment, take the RRR number to any commercial bank.
  • After payment has been successfully made, return to the page to complete the application form.
  • Once the form has been completed with the correct information, click on Submit. Afterwards, print out the slip.

O’ Level result(s), JAMB subject combination for the chosen course of study, and the 2020 UTME score are required for the Post UTME.

Candidates who did not choose the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, must apply for a JAMB change as their first institution choice.

Candidates seeking admission into the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede Higher National Diploma (HND) full-time programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session are invited to apply.

To be considered for admission, candidates are required to meet the following requirements:

  • Candidates must possess National Diploma (ND) in their chosen course of study from a recognized monotechnic or polytechnic.
  • Candidates must possess a minimum of five credits in relevant subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) at O’ Level (NABTEB or WAEC/NECO). It should be obtained at not more than two sittings.
  • Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 2.50 CGPA in National Diploma (ND) and completed their one-year IT programme.
  • Candidates who scored below 2.50 in National Diploma (ND) should have completed two years of post cognate work experience (Industrial Training).

Application Procedure:

  • Candidates should visit the institution’s website: fedpolynekede.edu.ng. Afterwards, click on the Admission Portal. Then, click on ND/HND Application Portal.

FEDPODAM Profile

The Federal Polytechnic, Damaturu is a government-owned higher institution located in Damaturu, Yobe State. The polytechnic was established in May 1993, and it commenced operation with six academic departments. The technological institution, popularly known as FEDPODAM or Damaturu Poly, trains students to be highly-trained technologists.

History of Federal Polytechnic Damaturu

The then Yobe State Government appreciated the need to improve the conditions and quality of education, especially technical education in the state, immediately after Yobe State’s formation. A decision to create Yobe State Polytechnic in Damaturu, the state capital, was taken towards the end of 1992.

The Federal Government informed the State Government of its decision to set up a Federal Polytechnic in Damaturu. At the same time, the requisite facilities and staff were being put in place for the take-off of the state polytechnic.

The Federal Polytechnic, Damaturu, was established in May 1993 by virtue of Decree 193 of the Federal Polytechnics (Amendment No. 2).

With the appointment of a pioneering Rector of the Polytechnic, the Yobe State Government handed over to the Federal Ministry of Education the site of the former Damaturu Government College and the adjacent phase II of the Secretariat of the Yobe State Government for the sitting of the Polytechnic.

With six academic departments, the institution has steadily expanded over the years to five academic schools that today consist of twelve (12) academic departments.

Federal Polytechnic Ede

Federal Polytechnic, Ede was founded in February 1992 to provide part-time and full-time courses in several fields of study.
