The management of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has officially released the Primary Admission List for the 2026/2027 Academic Session. This list includes candidates who participated in the 2026 Post-UTME screening and met the departmental cut-off marks for their respective first-degree programmes.
Important: Mandatory Steps for Admitted Candidates
If your name appears on the list, you must complete the following regularization steps immediately to secure your admission.
1. O’Level Result Upload (JAMB Portal)
All candidates must urgently visit a JAMB-approved CBT Centre to upload their O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB) to the JAMB portal.
Note: Your admission cannot be fully processed on JAMB CAPS until this upload is verified. Ensure you have a printout of your “Admission Status” from CAPS as proof.
2. Accept Admission on JAMB CAPS
Log in to your JAMB e-Facility Portal and click on “Check Admission Status”, then select “Access my CAPS”.

Click on “Accept Admission”.

Warning: Candidates who fail to accept their admission on CAPS will not be issued a JAMB Admission Letter and will be considered to have declined the offer.
3. Generate UNN Acceptance Fee Invoice
Visit the official UNN Portal.

Use your JAMB Registration Number to log in.

Navigate to the “Acceptance” tab to generate and download a Payment Invoice.

This invoice contains a unique Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number.
4. Payment of Acceptance Fee
For the 2026/2027 session, the UNN acceptance fee is ₦50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira only).

You can make payment at any commercial bank nationwide, including UNN Microfinance Bank, or pay online via the portal using your Debit/ATM card.

Important: Ensure the bank teller keys in your Invoice/RRR number correctly. You must receive a Confirmation Slip containing your Confirmation Number.
5. Print Admission Slip & Complete Forms
Return to the UNN Portal, log in with your JAMB Registration Number and the Confirmation Number from your payment slip.

Print your official UNN Admission Slip.

Complete the Acceptance Form online.
6. Final Registration
Proceed with other faculty/departmental fee payments and digital clearance as outlined on the university website.
Important Caveats

Provisional Nature: Admission is strictly provisional. If it is discovered at any time (even in your final year) that you do not meet the minimum university or departmental requirements as published in the JAMB Brochure, your admission will be withdrawn.

Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 16 years old at the time of admission.
