Admission Form for Katsina State College of Health Sciences and Technology 2022/2023

The admission form for the 2022/2023 Academic Session of Katsina State College of Health Sciences and Technology (COHESKAT) is now available. The deadline to submit an application is March 18, 2022.

The Katsina State College of Health Sciences and Technology desires to notify the public that online application forms for admission into various programmes at the College for the 2022/2023 Academic Session will be available from Monday 1st February to Friday 18th March, 2022.

 

Admission Requirements

Programme Admission Requirements
Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) Diploma Holders of WAEC/SSCE/NECO or GCE O Level with Five Credits (5) English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry.
Pharmacy Technician (PT) A candidate must have five (5) credits which must include Physics, chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English Language at WAEC or NECO at not more than two (2) sittings.
Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Diploma A minimum of five credits passes at SSCE/GCE/NABTEB ‘O’ levels in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and physics at not more than two sittings within a space of five years prior to registration with the MLSCN. Candidates with MLA or OND in Science Lab Tech certificate in addition to the requirements above may be considered for admission into 100L of the programme.
ND/HND Environmental Health Technologist (EHT) The minimum entry requirement into the National Diploma in Environmental Health Science programme is Five (5) credits passes in SSCE,NECO or GCE ordinary level at not more than two (2) sittings, The subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and any one from the following: Geography, Economics, Food and Nutrition, Physics, Technical Drawing.
Environmental Health Technician (EVT) Diploma Prior to commencing the Environmental Health Technician course, a candidate must produce evidence of holding one of the following qualifications: General Certificate of Education (GCE), West Africa School Certificate (WASC), and National Examination Council (NECO) with at least 5 passes in any of the aforementioned Certificates. Note that the five (5) passes must include four (4) credit passes in English, Biology/Health Science and any two of the following subjects: Mathematics, Geography, Physics, Chemistry and Agricultural Science. Holders of Environmental Health Assistant (EHA), Dental Surgery Assistants (DSA), Junior Community Health Extension Workers (JCHEW) and other related programmes with two years’ post qualification experience can be admitted at 200 level of the Environmental Health Technicians Diploma provided, they fulfill the entry requirements.
Health Information Management (HIM) Diploma Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry/Physics plus any one other subject.
Dental Health Technician (DHT) Diploma Any (4) Credits from English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. NB: Credit in English language is compulsory
Environmental Health Assistant (EHA) Certificate Every candidate prior to commencing the training as Environmental Health Assistant, must produce evidence of possessing the following qualification: Four (4) passes, two at credit level which must include English Language, one science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Health Science or Integrated Science) and any other two subjects in GCE, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB at not more than 2 sittings.
Environmental Health Technician Re-training (RE-EVT) Holders of EHA Certificate, DSA, JCHEW and above requirement with 2 year post qualification experience can be admitted into 200 level EVT Diploma
Junior Community Health Extension Worker (JCHEW) Certificate A candidate should possess Three Credit (3) WAEC or NECO in English Language Mathematics, Biology and any two passes from other subjects.
Community Health Extension Worker Re- training (RE- CHEW) Diploma HOLDERS of JCHEW certificate with two year post qualification experience and Five Credits (5) in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry will be admitted directly to 200 level
ND Dental Therapy (DT) A minimum of Five Credit passes in WAEC or NECO which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two sitting.
Diploma Health Promotion and Education (DHPE) A candidate must have at least four (4) credits which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology and any other subject from WAEC or NECO at not more than two (2) sittings.

Federal Polytechnic Ede’s Post UTME result for the academic session 2021/2022 has been successfully uploaded to the school’s website.

How to Check the Post-UTME Result of Federal Poly Ede

  • Access the site for the Federal Polytechnic, Ede at https://www.federalpolyede.edu.ng/entranceForm/login.php.
  • In the required columns, enter your form number and password.
  • To access your profile, click ‘Login.’
  • Finally, click on ‘Reprint Complete Form’ to access the paper containing your post-UTME score for Federal Polytechnic, Ede.

UNIMAID’s notification regarding the payment of the registration fee for the 2020/2021 session

Numerous students at the University have attracted Management’s attention due to failure to pay registration fees

This is to inform concerned students that registration for all University courses is mandatory and must not be compromised for any reason.

A student is considered to have registered properly if he or she has paid the specified fees and had subsequent course registrations signed by the various course coordinators and other appropriate personnel.

UNIMAID's notification regarding the payment of the registration fee for the 2020/2021 session

Affected Students are advised to submit their 2020/2021 registration fees and complete any remaining requirements by Friday, 18 February 2022. Management has developed a list of all impacted pupils, which will be posted on notice boards once the deadline’s expiration.

To eliminate any doubt, delisting students from the University’s records has been implemented as a deterrent.

This letter supersedes our previous one dated January 31, 2022.

This is to advise the University community and the wider public that the orientation and matriculation exercises for newly enrolled students at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka for the academic year 2021/2022 have been postponed until further notice.

This information supersedes the previously scheduled date of 4 February 2022 in the academic calendar of events for the academic year 2021/2022.

How to register for EBSU’s supplementary admission 2022

This is to inform all candidates who selected Ebonyi State University Abakaliki as their first choice university in the 2021/2022 UTME and obtained a score of 120 or above as well as the required O’level credit for university admission, that the application form for supplementary admission is now available.

Interested candidates should pay the N10,050.00 Supplemental fee by following the supplementary payment procedure outlined below. The registration portal will be open from Monday, 31st January 2022 through Friday, February 14th, 2022.

Procedure for application 

1. Check and Print out your Admissions Notification Slip.
2. Visit https://ebsu.edu.ng/portal
3. Click on Create Portal Account. If you have already created a portal account Enter your login details and click on Login.
4. Complete your Profile Account and upload your Passport as well.
5. Click on Acceptance Fee and Choose Click on “Get Acceptance Fee Invoice”.
6. Complete the Acceptance fee Invoice form and Click on Generate Invoice.
7. Print the Invoice and Proceed to the bank for payment or complete payment online with your ATM/Credit Card.
8. Return to the Portal and login.
9. Click on Acceptance Fee and Choose “Get Acceptance Fee Receipt”.
10. Enter the RRR on your payment confirmation Slip and Choose Remita as payment type.
11. Print the displayed Acceptance Receipt.
12. Click on Admissions and Choose “Print Admissions Letter”.

WAEC has released the GCE results for 2021 (2nd series)

WAEC Results for 2021 Session Have Been Released

This is to inform all WAEC applicants whose results for the 2021 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) School Candidates have been issued and others have been canceled.

This follows the conclusion of the board’s NEC meeting, which took place from Thursday 27th to Saturday 29th January 2022.

The following is a summary of the NEC meeting as shared on Twitter by @waecnigeria.
“The 72nd Meeting of the Nigeria Examinations Committee (NEC) of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), was held from Thursday, 27th to Saturday, 29th January, 2022.

“In the course of considering the various reported cases of malpractice, the Committee, approved appropriate sanctions in all established cases of malpractice, as prescribed by the rules & regulations governing the conduct of the Council’s exams.

“It (NEC) authorised that the entire results of candidates proven to have been involved in malpractice cases which attract the penalty of Cancellation of Entire Results (CER) be cancelled.

“It (NEC) also approved that subject results of candidates proven to have been involved in malpractice cases which attract the penalty of Cancellation of Subject Results (CSR), be similarly cancelled.

“Furthermore, some candidates will also suffer other sanctions such as being barred from sitting the Council’s exams for two years, some schools will be de-recognised for a specified number of years or have their recognition completely withdrawn.

“Some Supervisors that were found wanting in the discharge of their exam duties will be formally reported to their employers & blacklisted while some Invigilators will also be reported to the appropriate authorities for disciplinary action.

“The resolutions of the Committee(NEC) will be implemented without delay & the affected candidates & schools duly informed by the Council. But, the results of candidates who were exonerated by the Committee will be released without further delay.”

HND Admission List for Maritime Academy of Nigeria, 2021/2022

Candidates whose names appear in this publication have met all Admission Requirements and are hereby offered provisional admission to the Higher National Diploma (HND) programs in Nautical Science, Marine Engineering, and Maritime Transport, as well as Business Management in the Maritime Academy.

1. Admission Acceptance

Interested candidates should log in to the application portal at application.maritimeacademy.edu.ng using their registered email address and password in order to accept the admission offer and print their acceptance letters.

2. Registration for the Semester

Registration for the 2021/2022 session begins on February 7, 2022 and concludes on March 4, 2022. The application webpage contains information on the registration fee.

3. Date of Resumption

The Academy will open for registration on March 4, 2022, and the deadline for resuming is March 7, 2022. Cadets who do not report by 1900 hours on March 7, 2022 will automatically forfeit the admission offer.

Cadets must report to the Academy Gate no later than 1900 hours each day.

(ii) Print the admission letter on-line and present to the admissions office at the Main campus for signing. (candidates are to come along with the original copies of their certificates/results).

Please note that this process must be completed by the date indicated above as “Acceptance End Date” stated in the above table

Candidates who failed to complete the procedures by this date will forfeit the offers of admission.
